- Minimum wage: The monthly wage for shepherds (including pension payments) is now 31,607.62 Danish kroner (about €4,250).
- Overtime pay: There is additional pay for work outside normal working hours, including:
- Early morning: 23.66 DKK per hour before 5:00.
– Saturdays (after noon): DKK 144.45 per day.
– Sundays and public holidays: DKK 305.96 per day.

This new salary threshold applies to all shepherds and farm managers who apply for a residence and work permit in Denmark after April 12, 2024.
