🎓 The UK expanded its High Potential Individual (HPI) visa university list for 2025–26 to include more top-ranked global institutions.

🌍 The new list brings in universities like Boston University, PSL University, Université Paris-Saclay, University of Zurich, and Yonsei University.

❌ At the same time, it removed some universities such as KAIST, RWTH Aachen, and Penn State from eligibility.

🇦🇺 Several leading Australian universities — including ANU, UNSW, University of Melbourne, University of Queensland, and University of Sydney — remain on the list.

🚫 The HPI visa lets graduates apply without needing a job offer, giving them freedom to work, live, or innovate in the UK.

🕓 To be eligible, your qualification must have been awarded between 1 November 2025 and 31 October 2026.

📜 Applicants must verify their degree’s equivalence to a UK bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD via an approved assessment.

🗣️ They must also meet English language requirements and show enough funds to support themselves in the UK.

🔄 The visa gives 2 years for bachelor/master graduates and 3 years for PhD holders.

🌱 Although it doesn’t lead directly to permanent residency, visa-holders can later switch to routes like Skilled Worker or Global Talent for settlement.
