This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies used on https://greenoutdoors.in, and how you control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and follows the consent requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The short version
- Nothing but essential cookies runs until you choose. No analytics cookies are set, and Microsoft Clarity does not load at all, until you press "Accept" on the cookie banner. Google Analytics loads on every visit but starts in a cookie-less, privacy-safe mode until you accept.
- We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not sell your data or share it with ad networks.
- You can change your mind at any time — see "Withdrawing your consent" below.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can remember something — for example, that you have already answered the cookie banner. Some technologies we mention here (such as local storage used by analytics tools) are not strictly cookies but do the same job, so we treat them the same way.
1. Strictly necessary — always on
These are required for the website to work and to keep it secure. They do not track you across other websites and cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
go_cookie_consent | Green Outdoors Global (first party) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so we do not ask again | 180 days |
| Session cookie | Green Outdoors Global (first party) | Keeps your form session together so submissions and admin logins work | Until you close your browser (max 2 hours idle) |
XSRF-TOKEN | Green Outdoors Global (first party) | Security token that prevents cross-site request forgery on our forms | Session |
__cf_bm, Turnstile token | Cloudflare | Anti-abuse — distinguishes real visitors from bots on our forms and admin login. Not used for advertising or profiling | Up to 30 minutes |
2. Analytics — only with your consent
These help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all until you press "Accept". Google Analytics loads on every visit but starts in Google's Consent Mode with storage denied — while denied (before you choose, or if you reject), it sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and pages viewed, so we can see which content helps candidates and employers | Up to 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Aggregated session analytics — how visitors scroll and interact with a page | Up to 1 year |
These providers process data on our behalf. We do not use them to build advertising profiles, and we do not run remarketing or ad-targeting tags on this website.
3. Third-party content you choose to open
Some pages embed forms or content hosted by Zoho (for enquiry and registration forms). When you interact with an embedded form, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Embedded video or map content, where present, behaves the same way.
Giving and withdrawing your consent
The cookie banner appears on your first visit with two clear choices — Accept and Reject non-essential. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, as the DPDPA requires, and the site works fully either way.
To withdraw consent later, do either of the following:
- Delete the
go_cookie_consentcookie in your browser settings and reload this site — the banner will appear again so you can choose differently; or - Email office@gogpl.in and ask us to record your withdrawal.
Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection. It does not undo processing already carried out lawfully before you withdrew.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop our forms or admin login from working, but blocking analytics cookies has no effect on your use of the site. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal, which we honour where the analytics provider supports it.
Questions or complaints
For anything about cookies or your personal data, write to office@gogpl.in. Our Grievance Officer (Ms Shivani, office@gogpl.in ) handles complaints, and you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you remain dissatisfied. See the Privacy Policy for the full procedure and your rights.
