What Is a Demand Letter — and Why It Matters

15 July 2026 · Guide

A demand letter is a formal, written request from a foreign employer specifying the role, requirements and terms of a job opening. It's the starting point of every legal deployment we process — never a verbal promise or an informal listing.

This matters because a demand letter is documentation you (and we) can hold an employer to. If a "job offer" comes with no demand letter behind it — just a verbal description and a request for money — that's a sign the opportunity isn't real, or isn't being processed legally.

Every role on our Jobs page is backed by a real employer demand letter, not speculation.
