Beyond our own grievance process, the Indian government maintains channels you can use at any time, entirely independent of us or any other agency:
- PBSK (Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra) — toll-free 1800-11-3090 from India, or helpline@mea.gov.in
- MADAD portal — madad.gov.in, for grievances and consular assistance
- eMigrate portal — emigrate.gov.in, for emigration clearance status and the Active RAs list
You can also write directly to the Office of the Protector General of Emigrants at pge@mea.gov.in. These channels exist for your protection — use them whenever you need to, regardless of which agency you're dealing with.
